Truck Commander is the third episode of the second season of the A&E reality-television series Duck Dynasty, and the 18th episode overall. It premiered on October 17, 2012.
Plot[]
After John Luke repeatedly brings Willie's truck home entirely out of gas, Willie and Korie decide that he needs to learn more responsibility. Korie gives Willie the idea to buy John Luke a truck; hijinks follow when Si tags along taking Willie and John Luke to Mountain Man and the dump to try and buy a truck. They later buy John Luke a truck at a dealership and Si gets one for himself; sending off his old truck by blowing it up.
In the episode's sub plot, Jase, Martin, and Godwin find mishap in the swamp when they decide to take the day off and go crawfishing. They borrow one of Phil's boats and fail to check to see if the plug is properly installed which causes the boat to sink. They break the news to Phil who oversees the effort to retrieve the sunken boat and another piece of gear attached to it that was not retrieved when the boat was returned to the surface.
